the Father (Isaiah 64:8; 1 Corinthians 8:6) Almighty (Genesis 17:1; Revelation 16:14),

Creator of Heaven and Earth (Genesis 14:22; Romans 1:20),

and in Jesus Christ (Micah 5:2; John 6:29),

His only Son (Psalms 2:7; John 3:16), our Lord (Jeremiah 23:6; John 20:28),

Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Genesis 3:15; Luke 1:35),

Born (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:14) of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 2),

Suffered (Isaiah 50:6; 1 Peter 3:18) under Pontius Pilate (Psalms 2:2; Acts 4:27),

was Crucified (Psalms 22:17; Matthew 27:35), Died (Daniel 9:26; Romans 5:8)

and was Buried (Isaiah 53:9; John 12:24).

He descended into Hell (Psalms 16:10; Ephesians 4:9)

and on the third day (Hosea 6:2; 1 Corinthians 15:4)

He rose again from the dead (Isaiah 63:1; 2 Timothy 2:8).

He ascended into Heaven (Psalms 68:19; Acts 1:11)

and sits at the right hand of God (Psalms 110:1; Romans 8:34),

the Father Almighty (Jeremiah 3:19; Revelation 1:8),

from where He will come again (Isaiah 66:15; Matthew 16:27)

to judge (Zechariah 13:9; Acts 17:31) the living and the dead (Daniel 12:2; 2 Timothy 4:1).

I believe in the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 12:10; John 15:26),

the holy Catholic Church (Psalms 45:14; Ephesians 5:26),

the communion of Saints (Psalms 89:7; Romans 12:4-13),

the forgiveness of sins (Psalms 32:1; Acts 10:43),

the resurrection of the body (Ecclesiastes 9:5; Philippians 3:21),

and the life everlasting (Psalms 16:11; John 3:16).
